Abstract:

State-to-state cross sections for the reaction OH2v,j yields OHv,j H are calculated by classical trajectory methods. The collision velocity and the initial vibration--rotation quantum numbers are chosen to be compatible with the values these parameters would have in a high-altitude missile plume-atmosphere interaction. The computed results are least squares fit to functional forms to provide simple working formulas for the corss sections. Author
