Abstract:

The ionization frequency in air as a function of EP and the electron temperature are presented over a wide range of EP 50-1000. From these a correspondence relation between T sub e and EP is derived. A simple chemistry model is given for the description of the avalanche ionization for an electric discharge ionization in air.
