Abstract:
This report describes the development of four training courses for Navy personnel whose ASVAB scores were below the minimums required for entry into Navy class A technical schools. The training courses were designed to increase their mastery of the skills and knowledge deemed to be prerequisites for success in selected Class A schools. This effort was direct towards preparing these low-scoring personnel to enter Class A schools in the following areas Propulsion Engineering, Operations, AdministrativeClerical, and ElectricityElectronics.
