Abstract:
Altitude decompression sickness is a pathological disorder that can occur when aviators and astronauts are exposed to lower barometric pressure of altitude. Prompt care is available to most pilots within minutes to a few hours. For astronauts in orbit this capability is not available. This report develops an on-board recompression with an established treatment protocol. Author
