The project would divert Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta water from one of three locations in eastern Solano County overland by pipeline and aqueduct to tie into Phase I aqueduct facilities near Cordelia, California. Environmental impacts include possible disruption of biological habitats in the Jepson Prairie and Suisun Marsh that support threatened and endangered plant and animal species disruption andor encroachment on prime farmland temporary disruption of the Fairfield linear park system possible growth-inducing impacts consumption of large amounts of energy for construction and during operation and maintenance of the aqueduct increased noise and dust levels due to construction generation of large amounts of dredged material from maintenance dredging of intake channels provision of supplemental water supplies to Solano and Napa Countries.
