The portion of Brandywine Creek covered by this report was part of the Main Stem with Smiths bridge approximately 500 feet downstream from the Pa-Del. border near Cossart, Pennsylvania and continuing upstream to the confluence of the East and West Branches near Lenape, Pennsylvania. This was the third of four reports covering flooding along Brandywine Creek and its tributaries. This report included a history of flooding in the Brandywine Creek, Pa. and identified those areas which may be subject to possible future floods. Special emphasis was given to these possible future flood forecasts thru maps, photographs an profiles. While this report doesnt provide solutions it can aid in the identification of flood damage reduction techniques.
