Pressure and velocity data were collected in a full scale jet engine test cell in order to validate the predictive accuracy of a two-dimensional and axisymmetric primitive variable computer code. It was found that the model reasonably predicted the velocity profiles in the augmentor tube. Inaccuracy increased at higher engine thrust settings at positions far downstream in the augmentor tube. Predicted pressure profiles were reasonable but the magnitudes were in considerable error at high flow rates. Author
