Military aircraft are becoming increasingly complex, the associated avionics systems more sophisticated, and the mission profiles more demanding. The problem is to establish if such an increase in aircrew workload has become a limiting factor in the operational employment of some aircraft and to select viable methods to assess it. The methods of assessing workload are set forth in AGARDograph AG-246 Survey of Methods to Assess Workload which was published in August 1979. This companion document sets forth conclusions on workload measurement methodology. Author
