This report provides information and analysis on the physical condition of the dam as of the report date. Information and analysis are based on visual inspection of the dam by the performing organization. The examination of documents and visual inspection of the dam and appurtenant structures did not reveal conditions which constitute an immediate hazard to human life or property. The dam, however, has a number of problem areas which require further investigation and remedial work. The structural stability analysis indicates unsatisfactory stability would result from loadings which could occur during normal winter operations. Marginal stability is indicated during the Probable Maximum Flood PMF and 12 PMF flows. A structural stability investigation should be commenced within six months to determine the characteristics of the uplift forces acting on the dam, the properties of the existing dam, and the effect of these conditions on the stability of the dam. Remedial work should be undertaken, depending on the results of this investigation and completed within two years.
