The structural optimization problem considered in this work consists in minimizing the objective function subject to a wide variety of constraints. The behavior constraints impose limitations on the quantities describing the structural response static stresses and displacements under multiple loading conditions, natural frequencies and linear buckling load factors. In addition, side constraints are directly prescribed on the design variables themselves.
