Abstract:

Numerical methods are developed for constructing body-fitted curvilinear coordinate systems for the region surrounding an arbitrary three-dimensional body. Finite difference schemes are investigated for solving the Navier-Stokes equations on body-fitted coordinates. Solutions are computed for flow about a sphere and a finite wing. Author
