Abstract:

Crude oil analysis data for the years 1950-1977 were obtained on magnetic tape from the DOE Bartlesville Energy Technology Center and placed on the DOE Energy Information Administrations computer for use by the DOE Strategic Petroleum Reserve Office SPRO. A data transformation program was written to convert the crude oil data to a new SPRO crude oil data file compatible with SPRO crude oil purchase specifications. This SPRO crude oil data file is searchable for the purposes of identifying and locating crude oils having properties within specified search limits. Author
