Abstract:

The purpose of this report is to present a concise summary of off-site radiological safety activities during Phase II of Operation Hardtack held at the Nevada Test Site during September and October 1958. The report is intended to serve as a source of information to interested AEC and health agency personnel. In order to present the report in easily readable manner, detailed data are shown in the appendices rather than in the main body of the report. Graphs andor other visual material are included with the narrative description where applicable.
