Abstract:
This report is an independent assessment of the performance of three fluidic rate sensors which were provided for test. All tests were run using MIL-H-5606 hydraulic fluid. The results of the testing showed that the Fluidisc had the lowest threshold and null sensitivity, and that its output is sufficient to directly drive some hydraulic components. On the other hand the Laminar Angular Rate Sensor is the most economical sensor and its low noise and power consumption makes it the sensor having the most potential for future applications. Author
