Abstract:

A realistic failure rate governing the use of micro circuit devices in the ESS installation and prototype system of the ConformalPlanar Array Sonar is developed. It is shown that a serious discrepancy exists between failure rate data generated by producers and user agencies. Procedures for R and M assurance are recommended. Author
