Abstract:

Altec Service Corporations Interim Development Report dated 16 July 1954 contains transducer performance estimates which appear to the writer to be in error. The discrepancies noted for the case of the 1000 c.p.s unit operating alone are relatively minor. In the case of the 1000 c.p.s. unit operating in the complete array, however, the discrepancies are serious and indicate that the overall performance is much poor than the contractor predicts.
