Abstract:

Passive sonar systems recently introduced into the Fleet require routine performance testing at the Fleet Operational Readiness Accuracy Check Sites FORACS. Instrumentation for testing DIFAR trackers did not exist at FORACS. This effort was undertaken to provide a prototype model for a dedicated test instrument that could be incorporated into the existing FORACS equipment suite and test procedures. Author
