Abstract:

Ketamine alone and ketamine-xyalzine were studied in the baboon to compare their induction time, sleep times, heart rates, and muscle relaxant properties. The combination of ketamine and xylazine produced an extended sleep time, decreased heart rate, and good muscle relaxation when compared with ketamine alone. Author
