Abstract:

A nonlinear theory for solving partially cavitating cascade problems was formulated in two different types of input data set-ups, one specifying cavitation number and the other the cavity length. The second method was necessary to find a unique solution because the cavity length has two different values for a specified cavitation number in some blade geometry cases.
