The charge transfer compound 1,1-dimethylferrocenium bistetracyanoquinodimethane has been prepared and characterized by a single crystal x-ray structure determination, magnetic susceptibility studies, and conductivity measurements. The structure consists of chains of stacked TCNQ molecules and stacked ferrocenium ions, but there are no intermolecular interactions in the latter chains. Author
