Forty-eight women cadets in the Class of 1980 were studied during their initial training period at the United States Air Force Academy. Hematological and serological parameters were examined over the 43-day period. The analyses were carried out using least squares first and second order curve fits. This computational procedure is described. All but 8 of the 24 variables exhibited significant change over the study period. Implications of these changes are discussed in terms of potential causal factors. The study provides valuable baseline data for future analyses. Author
