Abstract:

Guidelines are given for preparing an integrated ReliabilityMaintainability RM Program Plan for use in the procurement of future generation Ka-Band SATCOM equipment. Specific attention is given to the purpose, objectives and technical content of the RM plan. Guidelines are given for documenting the procuring agencies data requirements, evaluating the contractors RM program plan, establishing the RM test program design and maintaining management visibility and control of the total RM program.
