Abstract:

The substitution of a conductive plastic for the normal dielectric plastic was considered the most satisfactory retrofit to provide human electrostatic discharge protection for electroexplosive devices EEDs employing plastic initiator plugs. Conductive gaskets may also be satisfactorily used for protection in those cases where the length of the EED can be increased. Author
