Presence of internal cell pressure during thermal nuclear pulse exposure in honeycomb sandwich structures has been demonstrated. The source of this cell pressure has been shown to be a combination of component outgassing, and the effects of heating a sealed gas Boyles law. Cell pressure tests were run at 10 to 50 calcm. Author
