Abstract:
Two tracer-gas pressurization studies were conducted in The Ming Blade chimney. The objectives of these tests were to evaluate gas flow within the chimney and to measure the flow from the chimney through the surrounding material to the mesa. The relative gas permeability and accessible gas-filled void volume of the chimney material was estimated from this data.
