Abstract:
This report is a comprehensive documentation of recently developed experimental and theoretical methods dealing with the solution of free flight missile nonlinear roll problems. A unified approach to the development of a nonlinear rolling motion theory for finned missiles as well as a passive roll rate stabilization technique are described.
