This paper describes a behavioral taxonomy of a captive breeding colony of owl monkeys Aotus sp. maintained in an artificial environment. The behavior was classified as noninteractive or interactive. Noninteractive behavior included feeding, drinking, locomotion, autogrooming, resting, elimination, and other motor acts.
