Abstract:

An open walled White-cell system was constructed and tested for application to particulate attenuation measurements. Particle sizing and generating apparatus were included in the system as was a minicomputer based data acquisition system. Spectrophones were developed to measure atmospheric dust absorption using the KBr pellet method of sample handling. Results of these efforts were presented in one presentation and two open literature articles, reprints of which are included in this report. Author
