Abstract:

This paper addresses the overview of the life cycle system acquisition for non-tactical communication systems excluding air traffic control and satellite ground systems based on the recent DODD 5000.1 and 5000.2, the draft AR 1000-1, and existing Army regulations. It will serve as a guide for the development, procurement and deployment of communication systems.
