On the Accuracy of the Positions of Celestial Objects Determined from a Linear Model.

This report discusses the positional accuracy obtainable from the local reduction of the topocentric coordinates of a celestial body in the topocentric reference frame. Both a theoretical and numerical analysis are provided. The method of dependences, the four constant plate model, and the six constant plate model are considered.
