Abstract:

CO2 laser induced hot electrons in n-InSb have been studied at liquid helium temperatures by determining the effect of the laser radiation on the amplitude of Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations. A new technique for investigation hot electron oscillatory magnetoresistance has been utilized in obtaining fundamental information concerning the effects of CO2 laser radiation and high electric fields on the quantum transport properties of n-InSb.
