Abstract:
The magnetic susceptibility behavior of an ironIII squarate complex with empirical formula FeC404OHH2O3 has been studies in the range 20-300K. Presence of both terminally-coordinated bidentate squarate dianion and bridging hydroxy groups is supported by the infrared spectrum of the dimer.
