Conflict exists in all organizations its effects on the organization can be highly detrimental. This study examines the impact on the organization of interpersonal conflict. A review of the techniques presently in use for resolving conflict is provided as well as a basic overview of the concepts of Transactional Analysis. Finally, the author provides insights as to how Transactional Analysis can be used as a tool for achieving an organizational climate which is conducive to the effective resolution of conflict. Author
