Abstract:

A computer model was developed to simulate a C.R.P. propeller system. A set of simultaneous differential equations was solved using CSMP III-the IBM simulation language. The computer model was verified against manufacturers data. Power piston displacement, power piston velocity and chamber pressure were determined for a nominal supply pressure of 600 PSI and various loadings. Overall, the system model and data should prove useful for investigations of design variations. Author
