Compressor blades for the ATEGG GE14 engine manufactured using electrochemical machining to form the airfoils. Elaborate dimensional inspections were performed on the as-machined surfaces. The blades were tested for frequency, nodal patterns, and fatigue strength and were compared to control blades made by conventional methods. Author
