Abstract:
A systematic engineairframe evaluation procedure was developed and used to assess interactions for fixed and variable geometry engine concepts in tactical aircraft. The evaluation procedure provides a rapid and inexpensive technique for evaluations of advanced engine concepts for extensive matrices of potential aircraft maneuverability and multi-mission requirements.
