Abstract:
Hydrogen gas clearance and saturation in the brain have been monitored in 22 subjects - twice in 4 of them with 6 months interval. The half time for hydrogen gas clearancesaturation in the human brain may fluctuate between 12 minute and 30 minutes in grey matter and between 6-12 and 14 minutes in white matter. There must be a focal mechanism regulating the blood flow to various areas of the brain. The Vesla on Person Biomedical Monitoring Equipment has been refined. The unit is fitted in a water tight clam shell, to be carried on the divers back.
