Abstract:
This paper describes the results and constraining factors of a military worth analysis that compared camouflaged versus pattern-painted tanks. The Battalion Level Differential Model BLDM was used as the analytical tool for this study. The analysis described herein is a comparison of the results of simulated battles some battles with camouflaged pattern-painted tanks in the defense and some with noncamouflaged pattern-painted tanks in the defense. In all cases, the offensive force was a numerically superior Red tank force. The analysis is based on test data collected at the US Army Aberdeen Proving Ground. Author
