Abstract:

The Multi-Mode Matrix Display Program is attempting to test the acceptability of using light-emitting diode displays in USAF aircraft. The informal and formal functional specifications for the software necessary to perform the desired tests have been developed. Formal functional specifications were developed using a technique called structured analysis. The functional specifications were used to design the software system. This design was accomplished using structured design techniques. The software design is presented using structure charts together with functional descriptions of all modules and definitions of the interfaces between modules. Author
