An investigation to determine the practicality of establishing alternate dimensional constraints for ASW stores too large for A size but not so large as to require B size dimensions is presented. Considered are stores deployable from the P-3C, S-3A and LAMPS aircraft. Elongation of the A size sensor is a readily implemented means of increasing volume without requiring aircraft modification.
