Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to increase the authors knowledge of the F-16 Deputy Program Manager for Logistics DPMLs tasks and objectives and what role Distribution supply and transportation plays in the Integrated Logistics Support ILS Program. Interviews were conducted addressing the particular areas of interest in the ILS and F-16 DPML effort. An analysis of the interview discussions on specific areas of interest was made and followed by the authors conclusion comments. Recommendations made by the author included increased DPML authority and support and delegation of ILSO personnel authorization and cost of ownership to the DPML.
