Abstract:

This report is a primer to the COMRADE COMputer Aided Design Environment Data Management System CDMS. It explains how to use CDMS by discussing the steps which were followed in creating, using, and updating a sample data base. At each step the available CDMS facilities are discussed and a description of how to use them is presented. CDMS is currently operable on the David W. Taylor Naval Ship Research and Development Center CDC 6700 computing facility under the SCOPE 3.4 operating system. Author
