Abstract:

This paper proposes and initiates the testing of the hypothesis which states An estimate of a short interval of time will indicate ones ability to perform a specified task relative to his ability to perform this same task at other points in time throughout the day. The investigation includes a survey of previous time estimation research and other related chronobiologic studies. It examines the interval estimation - task performance relationship by correlating two short intervals of time with performance of a letter cancellation task.
