An extra-high tenacity, continuous filament, heat resistant, nylon-66 yarn has been heated at 150 C and 175 C for up to 2 years and certain properties subsequently measured at 20C. Tex, breaking strength, tenacity, extension and mass decreased and the number of carboxyl end groups increased. Author
