Abstract:

A revised computer program to process raw data for experimental compressor test evaluations is presented. The data processing program converts raw data into engineering units, groups and displays the acquired data in a readable format, provides an initial analysis of compressor stage performance, and prepares a data deck for a secondary aerodynamic analysis. The computer program reduces test facility related measurements and compressor stage aerodynamic measurements which have been recorded onto magnetic tape. An earlier program has been revised to provide an improved method for evaluating compressor stage efficiency and flow rate, ability to reduce flow angle data when available, and to provide for easy editing of the raw data when required. The complete computer program, description of its use, and a sample case are included in the report. Author
