Abstract:
Lubrication greases are compounds consisting of liquid lubricants and solid thickening agents. They do not change their consistence under small loads and flow like ordinary liquids under big loads. Some properties of lubrication greases are presented. Lubrication greases are complex dispersion systems containing at least two or more stable phases. The liquid phase lubricating oil is the dispersion medium and the solid phase thickener particles is the dispersible part.
