Abstract:
In May 1973, a comprehensive program called Pro-Life was instituted in the 2d Infantry Division, South Korea. This program included an extensive physical training regimen. The purpose of this study was to 1 evaluate the effectiveness of this training program in terms of cardiorespiratory fitness and body fat composition, and 2 establish the levels of fitness and body fat according to age as affected by differences in physical fitness in a combat infantry unit.
