In this paper we survey recent results and present some new theorems on the behavior of Pade approximants for e-z. The new results include necessary and sufficient conditions for 1 a sequence of approximants to be pole-free in an infinite sector, and 2 a sequence of approximants to converge geometrically in the uniform norm over an infinite sector.
