A Wind Tunnel Study of the Lift-Drag Ratio on a Cambered Circulation Controlled Elliptical Airfoil

This thesis investigated the effect of a splitter plate on the lift- to-drag ratio of a cambered circulation controlled elliptical airfoil. The splitter plate was located on the lower surface of the airfoil at the 99 percent chord. It is hoped that the results presented in this thesis will stimulate more research towards increasing the lift-to-drag ratio on circulation controlled devices.
