The objective of the study was to determine various strategies of modifying the M114A1 155mm HOwitzer to a 1-turn-in-20 caliber rifling and to evaluate the relative cost, ammunition availability current and improved and production constraints and to consider the sensitivity of slippage of the XM198 milestone.
